About twelve weeks ago I took the EIT exam (Engineering-In-Training) and the results finally came in. I passed! Great news because it means I won't have to take the exam again (8 loooong uncomfortable hours!) and also because when I took the exam three months ago, they overbooked and made an announcement offering people the chance to postpone taking the test until this Winter. About fifteen people got up out of their seats and dashed towards the front door. I was not one of them. 
I went up north last weekend with my parents. They kind of dragged me along. They told me we were going to San Francisco which I thought would be pretty cool. Turns out we just stayed in San Jose most of the time (and we were in the car the rest of the time, which SUCKED!) I did manage to unlock all of the tracks in Mario Kart DS though (hah @ Tim!) and managed to beat my previous Tetris DS high score too, so all in all a pretty productive trip!
I also took a couple panoramas while we were there (to test out my new set-up). Unfortunately the only part of San Francisco we stopped at were a couple of the piers and the Golden Gate bridge. boo!
