I just got through with what had to be the strangest credit card activation ever with Washington Mutual
So they changed their debit cards to Mastercard from Visa which isn't that big of a deal for me. I've put it off for a while but I decided to do it tonight while cleaning my room.
Being antisocial, I attempted to activate online but it told me to call in and activate. No problem.
I call in and she has me verify my account number, the last four digits of my SS#, my address, birthdate, last four digits of the new debit card number....
Ok now it's activated right? No, not yet.
I then had to verifty my last bank statement transaction, the last transfer, and the last bank deposit.
Is that enough information?
