My life has been undergoing some restructring. Academic Probation was seriously a wake-up call for me. I'm trying hard to get my act together, even if it means having to dedicate a lot of time to studying. I finished two of my 2nd round of midterms already and have one more coming up. It feels good to walk away from a midterm and know exactly what you did wrong. Yeah, I didn't make a mistake typing that. I used to walk away from exams with relief, but at the same time I would just be wondering how much partial credit I got.
I definitely didn't ace my midterm today. On the last problem, I forgot how to integrate Cos^2 Theta. I know now, but it's a day late.
I'm pretty sure I got over a 80% though, which is just around my goal. You could say overall, I'm a lot more focused than I used to be.
The restructuring doesn't end there. My passion for photography has been fading a bit. I don't know if it's because I've been so busy getting my act together or if it's just becoming somewhat uninteresting, but I've decided to try to put an end to the decline by.. what else? Buying more stuff.
I sold my Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM and my Sigma 70-210mm f/2.8 APO and purchased this: A Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX HSM.

I have a Sigma 1.4x teleconverter coming in tomorrow too.

Another toy arrived today.
