School is finally back into full swing. The good news is that, well, I have something to do. The bad news is, I didn't do so hot last quarter, so I have a lot of things to turn around basically.
The first week has been pretty interesting. I'm taking three and a half classes. Well, its really four classes if you want to get technical, but the fourth one isn't really a complete class in a sense.
Math 3D
Dynamics (MAE 80)
ENGCEE 81B (more on this in a bit)
Ecoomics 20A
So I've been to class pretty mch every day so far. I've been late by like 5-10 minutes to a couple :noes: but nothing too major. Its amazing how simple things begin to appear when you actually try. Heh. Anyway, Math 3D seems pretty ok so far. I swear my professor taught 50 cent how to rap because he doesn't open his mouth when he talks.
I've come to the conclusion that sitting in the front row so I can hear his low volume mumbles should help to curve my grade up 5% at the LEAST!
Economics 20A was pretty ok. The major downside I project this quarter is going to be the fact that econ 20a's discussion is on Tuesdays.
at 5pm
. Theres a four hour break in between my Math class and the discussion, which is going to be very.. interesting (or not interesting) :hsugh:
Dynamics.
I hope evertyhing goes well with this class. Good news is my professor speaks English, which should boost my comprehension of the topics by a lot, but his lecturing style is kind of interesting because he doesn't really solve any problems he just sets them up and makes jokes.
We'll see how this turns out. :o
The fourth, or third and a half class I'm taking is CEE81B. Its a weird class that my professor who I will call Dr. Jay (because his name has like 200 letters in it) says is to get us excited about Civil Engineering. :hsugh: Lecture is one day a week and there is a lab one day a week, but 5 of those labs are going to be spent watching videos on Civil Engineering. It should be an interesting quarter.
